Introduction

 Hi all,

I'm AM and a wannabe self-published author and, this is my journey.

Genres I like to write about:

Paranormal - I enjoy paranormal shows, books, movies and, youtube channels. I am fascinated by the whole genre. I mainly like to write about hauntings. I also have a quill and a pentagram tattoo on my left arm. Books that I've read are the haunting of sunshine girl, (I am on The awakening of Sunshine book) written by Paige McKenzie.

Crime - Like with the paranormal, I love crime drama shows, tv movies and, books one being the Donald Strachey series, written by Richard Lipez. I hope to one day write my own tv movie script.

Romantic - Romantic is the genre I will be writing for my first book; it's an M/M romance, which is also a favourite genre mine when it comes to reading. One book, in particular, is Lazy Sundays by K-lee Klein.

Why do I want to self publish?

I want to self publish because I don't want to feel pressured into finishing a book I want to set my own deadline. I also like having control over my book.

I know it will be challenging and costly, but I know it will be worth it and, I can not wait for when I see my book on sale.

Will, I always self-publish?

At the moment I am saying yes, most of the books I write will be self-publish, but if I ever write the right book, I would like to give traditional publishing a shot and see how that goes.

What books are you working on?

I have two books in progress.

Book 1 is an M/M Romance called Justice for love (Working title). I want to publish sometime in July 2021. It will also be the start of a series, how many other books I do not know; at the moment I have three books in mind, but there may be more in the future.

Book 2 is a short story book called pub stories. This project I started around the summers holidays but put on hold. The book needs updating, but I'm thinking of maybe trying to publish it first.
