April CampNanowrimo
Hi all,
If you couldn't tell by the title, it is CampNaNoWriMo month. It started six days ago, but I thought I would mention what my plans are for this month and for the next ones.
So, this month, I am working on my paranormal book, yes for the third time, i am determined to get it written, so that I might have a changes of getting it self publish between August or October. My target is to write up to 50,000 words which now might have been a word too many, but that's what I've done so I'll just see where it ends up to.
This will be part of a series. No cliffhangers but each book will be based on each character.
So far I have been able tools my progress everyday, which I hope I will carry on with, so that by June I'll be looking for or have a date plan for beta readers. So excited.
If you've read my last blog it pretty much the same as what I wrote their, but you are welcome to continue on reading.
July CampNaNoWriMo, I will be working on my Christmas Romance, another book I would like to get done for this year as well. The good news is that I've already started it, so half of the moth with be finishing and then doing some reading and editing. Again excited, but wondering whether to get a cover made or to use the one I made?
So far my plan is for this to be a single book, but who knows.
And last, is the main event National Novel Writing month. Now this one I'm will be working on a crime, mystery book, for hopefully 2022, but I will not be self publishing and instead will be looking into literary agents to get it traditional publish. This was something I've wanted to do, but felt what I was writing would be something anyone would be interested in, but when this idea came to mind, I thought, why not give it a shot and if it doesn't get picked up, then there's always the self-published way.
As I will fishing university soon, I will be able to focus more on my WIP books and try to dedicate each month to a new story or at least get draft 1 written and get more books published.
There are things I am worried about, like self employment taxes, and looking for an editor, but I'll worry about that closer to the time. As for now, I want to just focus on getting a book ready.
Thank you for visiting. If you have any questions, please leave in the comment below.
