News and CampNaNoWriMo
Hi all,
So CampNaNoWriMo is finished. Now in my last blog you know I was writing my ghost book. Now the good news is that I was able to finish my first draft, but the bad news I didn't get to my goal. I did have down at 50,000 which I didn't think I would get to, so my aim was for 30,000 which I still did get too.
Now, recently I have been diagnosed with dyslexia, which I have mixed feelings about. I am happy because it explained so much, but because I found out a month before I finished university I lost any benefits I could have gotten.
I would recommended, when you first go into university and have had trouble with writing, never getting you punctuation or grammar right, this was my problem and I would have never related to dyslexia, not until a teacher mention it and that was how I ended up taking a test and assessment. I would just see if you university offence Dyslexia test. and if the test say's it doesn't see signs of Dyslexia but you could still go for and face to face assessment, go for it, because that what happened to me and I am thankful I went for it, because I did have doubt if it would be pointless, but it wasn't.
So as you may know I have been talking about self publishing my books and further projects for future CampNaNoWriMo, well that has all change.
1. I am only writing paranormal. All the ideas I have I will be focusing on them for future books and then I may move on to other genres.
2. I am now looking at traditional publishing. Why that is is because a teacher of mine made the comment on "why not just give it a try." and it made me think, why did I think about self-publishing, why didn't I think about traditional?
Obviously it was because I didn't think it would be good enough and that the best I could do would be good enough for self-publishing, but putting my mind into and with draft 1 done, I've added on new chapter, making changes to a character and thinking positive to write the best ghost book I can do and it being a series, it needs to be the best.
I've started to look at Literacy agents in preparation for when the time comes.

3. With just paranormal genre's that will mean every CampNaNoWriMo with have to do with my ghost book series. Which is a total of five books. I am very excited for this as I have the books stories planned.
Thank you for visiting. If you have any questions, please leave in the comment below.
Also if there are Literacy Agents you think I should look into too, link them below.
